片側は個性溢れる鳥のデザイン、もう一方はシンプルかつ動きのあるストライプ模様です。お洋服や気分に合わせてリバーシブルでお使いいただけます。取っ手には手織りの木綿生地を、グリップには手触りが良く丈夫な本革素材を使用しました。お使いいただくうちに風合いの変化を楽しんでいただけます。内ポケットは3つ取り付けました。1つはファスナー付きで貴重品を収納するのにも大変便利です。マチも広く容量もたっぷりあり、お出かけや小旅行などでも活躍します。

清涼な空気と水のある故郷、九州は大分県竹田市の畑で農薬を使わず有機肥料を与えながら自分たちで育てています。毎年収穫した葉を蒅にして、昔ながらの「天然灰汁発酵建」で一点一点心を込めて藍染をしています。


※お洗濯はできません。汚れがついたときは固く絞った清潔な布で軽く叩くようにお手入れください。日光や摩擦により褪色する可能性がございます。保管の際は光の当たらないタンスやクローゼットの中でお願いいたします。

KOUYASOMEKAI's original tote bag. It is made using the traditional Japanese techniques of organic indigo dyeing and katazome.
(Indigo-dyed cloth is used on the inside of the bag)
This bag has a unique bird design and a simple yet lively striped pattern. The bag is reversible to match your outfit or mood. The handles are made of hand-woven cotton fabric and the grip is made of genuine leather, which is comfortable to the touch and durable. KOUYA-SOMEKAI "organic indigo"

We grow our own leaves in the fields of Taketa City, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu, our hometown with cool air and water, using organic fertilizers and no pesticides. Using the leaves harvested every year as raw materials, they dye each indigo piece by heart in the traditional way.


*It is not washable. Please care carefully with a clean cloth that has been wrung tightly when stained. Because we use naturally occurring dyes, there is a possibility that the color may fade due to sunlight or friction.
